CORIANDER CHICKEN CURRY

Coriander chicken curry is our family's all-time favourite. I have learnt this recipe from my grandmother. For this recipe, you need more coriander leaves. It goes well with hot rice and also with dosa or chapati. I usually prepare this for hot rice. It's very simple and easy to prepare.

Ingredients:
1/2 lb chicken
1 medium size onion
few curry leaves
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
3-4 cloves
oil
salt

Ingredients for grinding:
3/4 or 1 bunch of coriander leaves
1/2 tbsp pepper
3-4 green chillies
10-12 Garlic cloves

Method:
1. Wash and clean the chicken. Grind all the ingredients mentioned under grinding into a fine paste.
2. In a pan add 3-4 tbsp of oil, cloves and curry leaves. Saute for 2 mins. Add chicken, turmeric powder and saute for 3-4 mins. Add a little salt and mix well. Fry the chicken for another4-5 mins.
3. Add the ground mixture, 1 cup of water, required salt and cover and cook on a medium flame. Keep sauting in between. Once the chicken is completely cooked and raw smell goes switch off the flame.
Serve hot and enjoy with hot rice!!!
